FIFA World Cup 2030

The first World Cup across Africa and Europe

Morocco, Spain and Portugal co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, with three centenary opening matches in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. For the first time, fans can move between two continents in a single tournament: the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier takes about an hour.

  • Six Moroccan stadiums, from Tangier on the Strait to Agadir on the Atlantic
  • A new high-speed rail line planned to link Kenitra, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech
  • Airport capacity being expanded nationwide ahead of 2030
